I've been getting wound up over this kind of stuff too. Here's what we shall do: simply try to ignore all of this speculation until the actual film comes out. I cannot have 2-3 years of this kind of stuff. I've even seen a thing about Hans being Elsa's love interest. Now that is completely ridiculous, namely due to the fact that he was literally seconds away from killing her. That bit still gets to me, and the look on his face is all I need to know why he shouldn't be redeemed, let alone be a "love interest". I get sick of all these groups out there... What they think and want along these lines just isn't going to happen. I trust Chris Buck and Jennifer to do just as good a job on the sequel as they did with the first film, so long as there are no external pressures like this. I hope that they see through the articles and just write them off. Hans' redemption, a love interest for Elsa, anything like that would undermine the integrity of the world of Frozen and destroy the messages of the first film. What was one of the many facets of Elsa and Anna that made them so powerful? Elsa's independence and Anna's will to never give up. The thing she has with Kristoff was second to that; these girls have shown us that there is more to life than romantic love and the quest to find "your other half". There is so much more to seek out from life and they have shown us this very clearly. I love what the characters have and share; I would see any change to that as a detriment to Frozen and a contradiction of all that it stands for. Just remember what Frozen is and remember who is at the head of this. The people making it are who to look out for, and so long as you trust them, you have no reason to worry about this kind of speculation. Best to grow a thick skin now because there is a long road ahead.
how would redeeming hans undermind and destory the message of the frist film.??? Hans being sorry and wanting to become a better person isn't a bad thing. the abuse from hans childhood and the abuse he got up untill he left for arendelle, influinced his bad choices. hans is responsbile for what he did but if his family loved him and treated him right, he would have never attack elsa or lied to anna.. Evil isn't born, it's made. in the book A frozen heart, he even states at one point, he dose not want to become like his brothers/father. yet, he did.. he bcame the monster he feared he would become.
