I think we need to have a concrete deletion policy for the wiki. The way things currently are, we hold discussions on a talk page to discuss whether or not deletion should occur, which is a good thing. However, the problem is, discussions often end up unfinished (http://frozen.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Frozen:_Stories_from_Arendelle), or in the case of my latest proposal, unanswered (http://frozen.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Frozen:_The_Essential_Collection).
This wiki has in the past demonstrated a sort of "three days after no response to take action" sort of policy; however, this is an informal practice that I would like to see in words. Based on this, a person would be able to put forth a motion for deletion. If in three days no one objects, it should be seen as a lack of opposition, resulting in the page's deletion (since the person who proposed deletion is effectively voting for it). This would ensure that the wiki actively stays tidied up without completely compromising community input.
I also propose adding that Admins are free to delete pages at their own discretion. Admins are appointed because they are entrusted by the community to serve as custodians...as such, we should trust them to exercise common sense in deleting pages immediately if necessary. This way, we won't need to waste time for discussions on pages that clearly need deleting. The "stub" template is good and all, but if the page never gets expanded, there's no point in keeping it for the time being.
