Personality

Bulda was portrayed as a loving character, as shown when she adopted Kristoff and Sven when they were young. However, sometimes she acts like a meddlesome mother, as seen with Kristoff and Anna in the song sequence "Fixer Upper." She is a sympathetic troll who understands people and their problems, as she can relate herself with many others.

Role in the Film

Bulda was shown towards the beginning of the film, when the King and Queen of Arendelle arrived at her home hoping to save young Anna after she was struck by Elsa's powers. Young Kristoff and Sven arrived at the scene, hiding behind a "rock" revealed to be Bulda. Bulda proclaimed, "Cuties--I'm going to keep you." This could be interpreted as her "adopting" the two.

Bulda appeared later in the film, during the "Fixer Upper" song sequence. Bulda, along with the other female trolls, dressed Anna in a troll wedding outfit. Bulda aided in orchestrating the spontaneous wedding of Kristoff and Anna, taking on the role of a meddlesome mother.
