Honeymaren Nattura is the sister of Ryder Nattura, a member of the Northuldra, and resident in the Enchanted Forest.
History[]
Honeymaren and her brother, Ryder Nattura, were born in the Enchanted Forest after the events of the Northuldran and Arendellian war. Due to the curse that prevented anyone from entering or leaving the forest, Honeymaren had never been outside the forest. She would be raised as a reindeer shepherdess. With a staff on her person at most times, Honeymaren also served as a protector of her people, fending off threats like Lieutenant Mattias and his guards.
Honeymaren led the ambush against Elsa and her party when they enter the Enchanted Forest. She commanded Anna to lower her weapon, prompting Lieutenant Mattias and his men to order the Northuldrans to lower theirs. When Honeymaren and her people tried to forcibly remove Anna's weapon, Elsa stopped them with her ice magic. Honeymaren, like the rest, was shocked by this reveal. She was doubly confused when Olaf revealed himself. However, Ryder noticed that Anna and Elsa's shawl is Northuldran, with Honeymaren pointing out that it belonged to one of their oldest families. This led to the revelation that Elsa and Anna's mother, Queen Iduna, was Northuldran. Honeymaren joined the other Northuldran in welcoming Elsa and Anna into their tribe. Elsa promised to lift the forest's curse and prepared to head out, but Honeymaren warned her that the Earth Giants roam the north at night. Yelena invited Elsa and her party to stay with the Northuldran's until morning. At this time, Honeymaren introduced herself to Anna, who promised to do all they can to help.
That night, Honeymaren took a closer look at Iduna's shawl. She pointed out the symbols on the shawl representing the elemental spirits. However, she revealed that there is a fifth spirit said to be a bridge between humans and the magic of nature. Elsa wondered if that fifth spirit is the voice that's been calling out to her. Honeymaren believed it may be, but noted that only Ahtohallan knows. She and Elsa briefly sang the "All Is Found" lullaby, with Honeymaren asking why lullabies always have to contain some terrible warning. Just then, the Northuldran camp was visited by the Earth Giants. Honeymaren hid, advising Elsa to do the same. The next day, she and the rest of the tribe headed west.
Later, Elsa and Anna successfully lifted the curse upon the forest, evaporating the mist and pacifying the spirits. Honeymaren and Ryder met at the Enchanted Forest's entrance and were equally mesmerized by the sight of the clear skies. Honeymaren playfully nudged her brother, who expressed his wonder. After Elsa relayed her experiences at Ahtohallan to Honeymaren and Yelena, Honeymaren noted that Elsa belongs in the forest, to which she agreed. She abdicated the throne of Arendelle to Anna, and remained in the forest among Honeymaren and the Northuldran. Honeymaren was last seen months later, riding alongside Ryder on the backs of reindeer taking their herd out for a run as Elsa passed them by on her way to Ahtohallan on The Nokk, being helped up to the top of the nearby cliff by the lead Earth Giant.
Personality[]
Honeymaren is bold and brave with a strong reverence for magic and nature.[1]
This boldness and bravery is shown in her very first appearance among the Northuldra ready to fight the Arendellians to protect her people and later charge at Anna when she sees she has a sword. Though once she is calmed down she acts very friendly with Elsa teaching her about the fifth spirit and casually talking to her about her mother showing a warm friendly side.
She is also shown holding hands with Elsa at the end showing a strong bond having formed between them despite the short time knowing each other. Honeymarren had also encouraged Elsa to remain in the forest due to her magical connection and admiration of her powers as the fifth spirit.
Like her brother she also seems to like reindeer.

- The scene where Elsa and Honeymaren are holding hands is deleted in certain countries due to homophobia (although Elsa was also holding hands with Yelena).[citation needed]
- Though she does not have a song of her own, Honeymaren sings twice in the film; first as a member of the chorus in "Vuelie", and again with Elsa in a brief reprise of "All Is Found".
- Honeymaren and her brother are both in "Kingdom Keepers" along with Anna and Elsa.
- Anna mentions that since moving to the Enchanted Forest, Elsa is either "putting herself in mortal danger" or hanging out with Honeymaren.
