"Life's Too Short" is a deleted song and outtake from Frozen. It was originally planned to be sung by Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) although sung by Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

It was due to be the confrontation song between Anna and Elsa, but it was replaced with "For the First Time in Forever (Reprise)." In the song, Anna's solution to the problem is for Elsa to put her gloves back on, but Elsa does not like that idea and they have an argument in the middle of the song.

This song is featured on the deluxe edition of the Frozen Soundtrack.

Trivia

This first part of the song was supposed to go where Elsa accidentally freezes Anna's heart. On a happier note, Anna tries to set things right and comfort her sister and compliment her on what a great person she is, and how she longs to be friends with her again.
According to the songwriters, they had fun going to the more dramatic place.
This song was replaced by "For the First Time in Forever (Reprise)" for being a confrontation song with Elsa and Anna. "More Than Just the Spare" was also replaced by For the First Time in Forever. Ultimately, the "For the First Time in Forever" wave of songs completely replaced the "Life's Too Short" wave.
Anna was supposed to give Elsa the option of returning to Arendelle, but Anna gave her the gloves back, that really sets Elsa off.
