The other Administrators and I have had discussions and we all agree that you are no longer fitting of your bureaucratic and administrator privileges and request that you peacefully step down. We believe you are no longer up to task due to two (2) reasons:
1. Inactivity: An administrator is meant to guide the Wiki and aid its development; however, your history of contributions indicates otherwise and as such, reflects poorly on the administrative team. Your inactivity also diminishes the value of your Bureaucrat status, as the right to grant/revoke Administrator/Rollback/Chat Moderator status is a significant one. If you have no interest in actively contributing, you really have no use for the tools given to you. We understand that life must come first but you have had a long history of inactivity and we feel you've been given enough chances. The fact that I had to hunt you down on a separate Wiki to obtain your opinion on a Wiki proposal is just one instance where you have shown yourself to be completely absent from Wiki affairs. Considering your low quantity of edits, giving up your rights would hardly be noticeable.
2. Undeserved privileges: On a second note, when the Wiki merge was complete, you had resigned your rights and the new Wiki Staff had been established, consisting of NinjaFatGuy, Bella, Mojo, and Dani. Yet, without consulting anyone whatsoever, you requested Evanf return your rights to you, though it was made clear he was not to have an active role in the Wiki. He also reinstated Littlerat's rights but fortunately removed his Bureaucrat status without causing further incident. Your sudden re-promotion surprised everyone; it is particularly upsetting that you simply felt you could ask Evanf for the privilege of becoming an administrator. There's a reason Administrators are carefully selected through deliberation and yet, you felt the need to surreptitiously inject yourself into the administrative staff. You also have, without consultation, given yourself the title of "Community Manager". As part of staff, you are expected to work with the other members of your team, not elevate yourself above them. All of this is notwithstanding your experience with other Wikis. Prior to the merge, in the Frozen Disney Wiki, you felt the need to designate yourself the "Head Administrator", evidencing another instance where you have placed yourself above your co-workers. Your DisneyWiki record as a Chat Moderator is conclusive proof you do not know how to properly interact with the community and fail to exercise your privileges properly, both which are necessary to be an effective Administrator and/or Bureaucrat.
In short, given these grievances, we believe it best you step down. Should you object, we will have no choice but to open a forum to discuss your rights to have Wikia Staff formally remove them; we'd rather not take such drastic measures so we are asking you to leave on good terms. Your cooperation is appreciated. These terms are non-negotiable.
Other Administrators, please respond to this message to illustrate your support for this motion.
--Dragonboy, speaking on behalf of all the Administrators.
As I do not want to take sides, I do have to agree with this. Although I am very grateful for my promotion from a rollback to an administrator, as an admin, I would do what is best for the community.
It was very unreasonable for Evan to ever give you back your rights in the first place, but that's been dealt with accordingly a long time from now, thanks to Dani. Asking Evan was unprofessional, as Ninja at least left you with Chat Mod and/or rollback rights. I hope being part of the Admins is not a role simply to assert your authority over others. We're a team here and we're all equal. You may not be aware of this (or you might, I'm not very sure), but in the summer I've actually attempted on having a talk with you in chat about your bureaucratic rights, but summer just wasn't the time, but now it is.
We would be very thankful if you still wish to edit along with us and suggesting improvement ideas for the Wiki in the near future. Thank you.
I completely agree with this. Chad, I've known you since the moment I became apart of the F-D Wiki. Time and time again, we would give you a chance to become more active, and you would give us our word that you would become more active than ever. But every time, you would never live up to your words. I get it that you want to be a part of a bunch of wikis, but you still need to keep up here too. It's better to focus on just one or two wikis than be on and off on several wikis.
I know I'm coming off harsher than I usually am, but this is for the best. Besides, even if you don't have admin rights, that won't stop you from editing or being part of the community. We would still appreciate your opinions and suggestions of the wiki in the future, admin rights or not. We're all in this together, whether a user has special rights or not.
I do agree with this too. And I do know you Chad, very well. You have been an admin on the F-D Wiki, but like now, you were not as much active. You've also transferred to the other wiki, still being an admin on the F-D Wiki, I've demoted you, yet you came up and to me and asked why your rights were taken away even though you should clearly know why. I was polite enough to give you rights back because I trusted you. You said that you would stay on the F-D Wiki and surrender your rights on the other wiki but now I regretted letting you keep your rights. Now, after our merge, Evanf decided that he would make you a bureaucrat for no valid reason, even though you didn't even do anything on the other wiki, and now you have given yourself false titles such as "Community Manager". You were not even given permission to become an admin on here. I should've done this a long time ago, but now I have to tell you now to surrender your rights Chad. The admins and I do not want to create any drama so we would like for you to surrender your rights peacefully and calmly.
Like what Dani said, we don't like to be harsh but it was for the best. Being an admin isn't the best thing in the world so I believe that there should not be any further complaints about this decision. We all still appreciate on what you do no matter what. We hope to keep seeing you around the wiki. Thank you and have a good day.
Hi guys. I am so sorry for my inactivity, but have no excuesses. I have also become very busy in real life stuff and online. On top of that I have just been promoted to "Councilor" on Wikia. It's great to see 2 former admins become global users (yaaa me :P). Anyway, thanks for giving me a chance, and I hope we can remain friends. I have demoted myself.
I'm writing because I would like your input in the thread that I have highlighted. Our Wiki editing policies are almost non-existent so I took the liberty of formally drafting some up but it is far from complete. Even so, what is currently present will require quite an overhaul on articles.
I didn't want to message you about this since you could be busy but I've noticed you and the other Admins have logged in since the thread was posted and no feedback whatsoever has been given. As a result, I've decided to actively reach out. If you are busy of course, then no worries but do note your input as an Administrator would be helpful.
Meet me on the chat. I will go over the new plotline with you and maybe an exerpt from one of the later chapters, if I can find one that isn't written completely in my shorthand. BTW, I think I told you all about the story before, but be prepared to throw all that out the window. The new one is radically different than the outlines I released in April and May.
Hi. Just to clarify that the chat meeting is tomorrow at 10:00 AM HKT. Anyways, you tried to make an Olaf background? Maybe we should vote on that first, because it should be a better idea for all the admins to decide whether or not to change the background. I mean, Dragonboy's worked so hard to form the background of the wiki we're working on right now. We also have to talk about the admin rights in chat, which is a much more serious threat to the wiki.
