Hi. I can ask you a question. You are from United States? Well, I wanted to ask you a favor regarding the Frozen 2 movie that will come out first in the United States. If you are, I would like the premiere day to make a live from some cinema.
Hi Heimr Arnadalr, I read that I needed to contact an administrator to delete threads that I posted, so I was wondering if you would delete my thread for me: https://frozen.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:19162. I re-posted the topic of this thread as a blog and I feel that also keeping it as a thread would be a bit disorganized. In addition, I do not wish to continue conversations about the topic on the thread, and there are other threads on this site that are highly related to the topic of the thread that I wish to delete. Thanks!
Hi, I'm Ember, I saw in the Wiki Activity that you were the last active Admin here, which is why I'm writing you about this.
Just so you guys know, the background image here isn't displaying properly, it's a broken file in the very top center of the page - and even that can barely be seen. I can give you a screenshot if you would like or if it's working properly on your end and you can see everything correctly. I'm on a computer, so this isn't a mobile issue.
I remember this Wiki was really gorgeous when I looked at it a few years ago, and now all that code seems to be gone or broken, because everything is simply dark blue with a broken image instead. I can find old screenshots on sites like Wayback if you want, since I don't think this is intentional.
Hey, sorry for the late reply. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but this is probably a code-related issue, which is a shame because one of our old Admins (Dragonboy) used to handle all that stuff. However, he's been gone for years at this point. I'm going to try to sort this out though, so thanks for bringing this to my attention.
On an unrelated note, that quote at the bottom of your post...I swear I've seen another user around here use that before, but I just can't place who it was lol
I'm sorry to hear that, but good luck just the same and if there's any way I can help just let me know!
Lol XD Really? I've had this signature since 2015, it's really old tbch :P XD
I suppose this is as good a time as any, so I guess I'll bring it up now. I've recently adopted the Disney Princess Wiki and actually just finished it's design. Do you guys want to affiliate with us?
Also, if we do affiliate (or not), can I advertise the Disney Princess Wiki on my Profile, MW Greeting, and in pages under my Profile? I would also ask for blog posts, but I can't really see myself making one tbch XP Also, is it okay if I use some of your guy's CSS and/or JS? Specifically for the Toolbar?
Edit: Please disregard all the previous edits. An agreement was reached with the User and I see that I overreacted with my panic. Thank you!
This is the last reply I'll send since I feel like I'm bumping this Thread too much, I'll edit this message if I need to write anything else. Just so you know, I've organized all the Templates here, so there are none marked in Insights anymore ^^
As seen in "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" there was a Christmas event that took place in Arendelle, the first such celebration since the gates were opened. I would like to ask if "Christmas in Arendelle" (title is conjectural) can exist as a page or if that is unnecessary?
You can always start the page. I don't think anything has been said against starting one, but the focus would have to be on the event itself and what took place within it, and not describing what has already been separately mentioned on say character pages, regarding their personal feelings within the event. Refer to other event pages and see if you can construct a page on this event with the same format and writing technique.
Hi, Heimr Arnadalr! I'm an administrator at The Green Ember Wiki, and I stumbled upon your wiki one day. It's wonderfully designed and very customized! I was just wondering if you could inform me as to how you created a custom mouse cursor for your wiki, as I can't seem to get the information anywhere else. I'd appreciate that very much. :)
Hey, it's a line of code on the CSS page, lines 144-165. First you need to find a 32x32 image to serve as the cursor. Then copy and paste the code and replace the url with one to your image.
How do we overcome the titles of events being "conjectural", despite this not being an issue when we first added the events? I don't see how "Anna's nineteenth birthday" is conjectural, as we are totally sure that's what it is based on canon. We also need to be careful about how many events we have; they should mark something that affects the kingdom, directly changing the course of things, not just have one because it was a scene in the film.
Everything added so far is fine - I like what you've done. But I'm thinking about the "Accident in Elsa's ice palace" and "ice skating in Arendelle castle" which I saw as succeeding an event but isn't yet an article. Your thoughts?
Edit: It is also tricky to say if things are always followed by or preceded by seeing as events can overlap and happen simultaneously.
When Wookieepedia (my model wikia) uses conjecture, they mean it as "even though an article uses canon information, the title of an event may not explicitly be referred to as such in the source material." See http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sterilization_of_Geonosis for reference. Though the Empire did in fact sought to sterilize the Geonosians according to Star Wars Rebels, the characters never actually call it that, thus it is conjecture. In fact, the only even that may be immune is the Great Thaw, since the soundtrack refers to it as such.
As to your second point, there's time to make those pages articles; Akisaurus can't do everything ;)
Regarding your edit, that's why I added a "concurrent" parameter to the infobox.
EDIT: To be fair, I suppose general things like a birthday and coronation may not be conjecture (what else will you call 'em?). But what's to stop someone from calling the isolation of Arendelle castle "closing of Arendelle castle" instead? For a page with a title that isn't so general, the conjecture template should be used.
EDIT 2: Might be worth reaching out to Akisaurus about this, considering I merely built on his reasoning and might not know if he has additional rationale beyond what I've said.
We still need a way of resolving the conjectures, but I don't know one, other than getting a direct reference to an event in a book or other piece of literature - following your logic.
On reflection, I guess there's no reason that we can't detail the other incidents in the film as events. I suppose an event isn't synonymous with a scene, and the accident at the palace is important.
Will do. Interesting that someone has come along and actually builds on our work constructively.
Could you also please send me a link to the Events infobox? We really need a proper category for them as I don't think they appear alongside the old infoboxes.
Pretty sure Littlerat1/Bella8991 founded the wiki and NinjaFatGuy merged the wikis according to both Dragonboy6491 and BlouseGirl. That message from the admins telling you to step down is pretty telling regarding your "contributions." Your rollback request is similarly telling.
"Admins aren't the "leaders" of a wiki. They've merely been given extra tools to oversee maintenance on the wiki, but their input matters only as much as that of the community that selected them."
If you haven't noticed from my avatar, I'm a Daredevil fan...and a line he says as he takes down the series' antagonist is "This is my city, my family!" But nice try at an ad hominem attack. It doesn't detract from your poor contributions to this site.
I shouldn't have to know what you're into to understand your profile and not take it as abusive. I'm not worried about this site, I've done my time here.
Your time spent here was merely to "elevate yourself" above others, as indicated by this message. And your rollback request was rather laughable; it's funny how you don't seem to end up with user rights when actual voting occurs. You seem to fall back on requesting repeatedly.
Even now you flaunt your Councilor position as a way of trying to justify that you are better than others.
And in case you insist on my abusive outlook, see this. I highly recommend the series.
Forgive me for not being as knowledgeable as thou, "Councilor," but I was under the impression one has to individually select which pages one wishes to follow, which would indeed imply you chose to follow my posts. Unless you wish to clarify?
Ah but there lies the fallacy in your statement. If you indeed cannot follow a message wall, then why mention Special:Following to begin with? I guess you must have been going through either my or Maurice.136's contributions on CC.
Own your true motives, Chad. It's obvious you are triggered because Maurice.136 and I saw through your facade. You think you can trick your way past anyone, but as the people on this wiki have shown, those who are truly competent will realize your goal is only to get "dat fancy admin tag" on your profile.
OK guys, I'm stopping this now. It would be nice to see some more constructive discourse. If any more animosity or spats like this occur further action will be taken.
