The Northuldra are a people who inhabit the Enchanted Forest, which is situated north of Arendelle.
Description[]
They are known as the "people of the sun". The Northuldra have a deep connection to the elemental spirits of the forest and are able to harness magic through their relationship with them. They have a strong bond with reindeer and raise them in herds. The Northuldra are ruled by a council of elders.

The Northuldra have an affinity for reindeer and raise them in herds. They enjoy a strong bond with them, as seen with Ryder.
Trivia[]
- The Northuldra are loosely based on the Sámi people, whom Disney consulted as a result of an agreement between The Walt Disney Company, the transnational Saami Council, and the Sámi parliaments of Finland, Norway and Sweden. Considering that the Sámi are located north of Scandinavian nations, on which Arendelle is based, this makes the world of Frozen (or at least this area) geographically similar to the real world.
- In Frozen II, there seems to be one leader of the Northuldra people, however, in Frozen II: Dangerous Secrets: The Story of Iduna and Agnarr it is said that the Northuldra are ruled by a council of elders, not by a single person, at least before the fight between the Northuldra and the Arendellians.[1]
