Olaf's Frozen Adventure is a holiday special of Frozen[1][2] released in theaters with Pixar's Coco on November 22, 2017.[3]

Olaf teams up with Sven on a merry mission in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 21-minute featurette "Olaf's Frozen Adventure." It's the first holiday season since the gates reopened and Anna and Elsa host a celebration for all of Arendelle. When the townspeople unexpectedly leave early to enjoy their individual holiday customs, the sisters realize they have no family traditions of their own. So, Olaf sets out to comb the kingdom to bring home the best traditions and save this first Christmas for his friends.[4]

The special was confirmed in February 2016 to be shown on ABC in 2017, with Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton being the directors, and Roy Conli being the producer.[1] On December 12, 2016, the The Making of Frozen: A Return to Arendelle documentary revealed that the special would be titled "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" and include four new songs recorded by Kate Anderson and Elyssa Samsel.[5] On June 13, 2017, John Lasseter confirmed that the special was instead being shown with the theatrical release of Coco on November 22, 2017,[3] though it was later reported that its last showings with the film will be on December 8.[6] On September 7, Disney revealed the United Kingdom release of the special to be part of screenings of the first film on November 25 and 26.[7]
