Sorenson is a scientist living alone in a tower on a mountain top near the Miner's Mountain. He is said to be a mystic.
History[]
Iduna visited Sorenson, but the details of the visit remain unknown.
Anna, Elsa and Kristoff visited him to find answers about the Blight and the wolf - the Nattmara. During their visit the Nattmara attacked Sorenson's tower and during the fight lots of Sorenson's research were destroyed, but the people managed to escape.
In the abandoned mines, Sorenson sacrificed himself to help others escape the wolf in a mine cart, after which he was possessed by the monster.
Later, he reunited with Anna, Elsa and Kristoff and wanted to lead them astray, when it did not work he attacked them using Highly Flammable and Very Dangerous Combustion Powder and Kristoff jumps off the magic ice sled to let Anna and Elsa escape.
A month later Sorenson invited Anna and Elsa for a meeting, it is unclear if they managed to meet as a week later Elsa woke up the Elemental Spirits and a new adventure had begun.
Two months after Anna became the new queen of Arendelle, the sisters went to Sorenson to ask if there was a scientific reason that the sky was becoming dark, but he could not provide one.

He is old, short, has brown eyes and a long silver beard.
Personality[]
Sorenson is a very wise man, he believes that every myth contains a kernel of truth and wants to find explain how the world functions. He is also an inventor, one of his inventions is Highly Flammable and Very Dangerous Combustion Powder - a purple explosive.
After the incident with the Nattmara he seems more willing to accept magic as he didn’t rule out the possibility of a Draugar darkening the sky when he couldn’t find a scientific answer. Also recounting how his father claimed to have seen one.

Sorenson became Anna's friend after the adventure they had together and invited her for a meeting, it remains unknown if they managed to meet though.

Sorenson became Elsa's friend after the adventure they had together and invited her for a meeting, it remains unknown if they managed to meet though.
Kristoff[]
It is not clearly known if he became friends with Kristoff as well, but he as others possessed by the Nattmara does not remember what has happened when he was possessed, so he does not remember fighting with him.
Iduna[]
Not much is known about the relationship between Sorenson and Iduna, it is known they had met in his tower and that Iduna drew a map of the night sky for him. Still, after six years from her death he thought about her and that she would want him to meet with her daughters.
