Introduction[]
The Elements[]
The elements are a strong theme in Frozen II and had a strong influence over the film's narrative. Each spirit was inspired by existing myths: the Water Spirit by old Norse myths, along with the wind; huge boulders across Scaninavia from the last ice age were said to have been scattered by "rock trolls"; and the Fire Spirit was inspired by salamanders that would run out from burning piles of wood.
Chapter 1: Arendelle[]
Arendelle underwent some design changes to ensure its layout was logically consistent with the stories told within it. This meant setting out a proper plan of the kingdom, in particular the village.
