"The Trolls" is a musical number written and composed by Canadian score composer, Christophe Beck, for the 2013 Disney animated film, Frozen.
It plays in the scene where Pabbie tells Elsa about her powers, and how she must learn to control them.
History
The king and queen of Arendelle arrive at the Valley of the Living Rock where Agdar calles upon the trolls. The royals are greeted by them, but the trolls are surprised to see them. Pabbie makes his way forward to greet the family; after talking with Agdar, Pabbie proceeds to heal Anna. He then proposes that all traces of magic be removed from her memory, "just to be safe". He goes on to explain to Elsa that although her powers are beautiful, they can also be dangerous, and that fear would become her enemy if she did not learn to control them. The king then declares that the castle gates will be closed until Elsa can learn to control her powers.
